Share this articleNazarbayev University (NU) has launched the application process for mid-year admission, offering a new opportunity for those who missed the regular intake period or wish to transfer from other universities, including international institutions.
Mid-year admission to undergraduate programs is an additional intake period during which applicants may be admitted on a self-funded basis for the Spring semester. Applicants will compete in the mid-year admission process to undergraduate programs on a self-funded basis, following the same selection procedures as the standard admission process, in accordance with the Admission Rules and Procedures for Undergraduate Programs. Students admitted through this admissions process will begin their studies in the Spring semester. Eligible applicants:
Applicants under the NUET category will be considered only with NUET results obtained in the current calendar year. The minimum required scores are: overall –130; each subject –60 (Mathematics, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving Skills).
To apply, candidates must create a Personal Account at admissions.nu.edu.kz.
Important: Applicants admitted to self-funded undergraduate programs for the Spring semester are not eligible to participate in the selection process for the Nazarbayev University Educational Grant or other scholarship programs.
Online registration period: September 29 – November 28, 2025 (until 14:00, Astana time)
Deadline for submitting test results to NU: November 28, 2025 (23:59, Astana time)
Accepted test results must be sent directly to Nazarbayev University by the test administrator using the following Institutional Codes:
