Trademark use message
NU informs that it has been becoming increasingly common in the announcements and advertisements of educational agencies, centers and etc. to use the name (“NU”) and trademarks of the University (including its logo “NU”), to refer to NU employees, faculty and students involved in rendering services of preparation applicants for the admission to the University, including preparation to NUFYP Entrance Test.
In this regard NU announces that the University does not provide any services for preparing applicants to the admission, has not delegated any authorities to carry out these services on behalf of the University and has not any partners in form of other educational centers and courses offering services for preparation to NUFYP ENTRANCE TEST and the University is not related to such announcements, advertisements and services.
The University notifies that names and trademarks of the University are protected by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Unauthorized use of name and trademarks of the University (name in Kazakh, Russian, English languages, logo), for commercial and noncommercial purposes, and also providing of unreliable, misleading information on preparatory and other educational services rendered by the University, may constitute a cause for bringing to civil, administrative and criminal liability. In case of such breaches the University will initiate proceedings to bring offenders to responsibility according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
