Pavel Mironov, Kaspi Bank Management Board Chairman, and Duman Uvataev, Chief Data Officer, visited NU.
During the meeting NU Executive Vice-President Aslan Sarinzhipov shared information about the university's activities, showed the NU master plan and talked about scientific projects. The guests visited several laboratories of National Laboratory Astana, Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI), learned about research of the Center for Medical Robotics and Research at NU School of Engineering and Digital Sciences.
An exceptional opportunity unfolded as part of the visit program: a lecture for students on"Kaspi's Big Data. Pavel Mironov, a graduate of Harvard Business School's GMP program, who has extensive experience in fintech, shared with the students insights and talked about the bank's ecosystem services based on Big Data, while Duman Uvataev explained how the work on processing and analysis of Big Data is structured. NU students, privileged to engage with these industry professionals, also had an opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.
