As the leading university in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, NU welcomed all visitors, with over 13,000 people registering for the science and education festival.

During the event, new admissions criteria for the university were presented. Students, alums, staff, and faculty organized informational sessions, presentations on academic programs and research projects, tours of laboratories, the library, and classrooms, as well as dance and musical performances, quizzes, and prize drawings.

Professors and students from the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences led informational sessions on mechanical, aerospace, and other engineering fields, robotics, and materials technology. They also showcased scientific developments, including humanoid robots, electric vehicles, exoskeletons, etc. The School of Medicine conducted tours of its simulation center, anatomy labs, and research facilities. The School of Mining and Geosciences demonstrated virtual reality and drone technologies in the mining and oil industries. The Graduate Schools of Education, Public Policy, and Business offered overviews of their academic programs and organized open discussions and talks with alums.

The NURIS Innovation Cluster presented an exhibition of its startup support initiatives, while the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) demonstrated to visitors the virtual assistant Umaу. At the invitation of the Career Advising Center, successful alums such as Ayan Birimzhan, Galymzhan Aitkazin, Laura Vaigorova, Dauken Seitkaliev, and Maulen Akhmetov shared their success stories. Since NU's first graduating class, over 10,000 students have completed their studies at the university. More than 90% of these graduates remain in Kazakhstan, contributing to the country's development. Now, NU has around 8,000 students enrolled in fields such as engineering, mining, natural and social sciences, medicine, business, education, and public policy.

According to the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Rankings, NU is among the top 30% of the world's best research universities, ranks 129th among Asian universities, and 106th among young universities.
